About Inner Reach Therapy

Hello, it’s lovely to meet you.

Welcome to Inner Reach Therapy.

My name is Caroline, and I am very pleased that you have stopped by to visit my counselling practice site.

As a qualified counsellor with many years experience in providing mental health support, I assist individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship and family problems, as well as more complex issues like domestic abuse and trauma.

No matter your background or circumstances, I am here to guide and support you through your current mental health challenges. While starting this journey may feel daunting, like running a marathon, together we will take those essential first steps toward improved mental health.

My practice is intentionally inclusive of communities who have often experienced stigma or barriers to accessing therapy, including neurodivergent people, LGBTQIA+ communities, and sex workers. I offer a warm, identity-affirming, and non-judgmental space where your experiences are respected and your autonomy is valued.

Together, we will create a safe space where you can express yourself, explore your experiences, and receive the respect, acceptance, and understanding you deserve.

Trauma Counselling

If you've experienced trauma, it's crucial to seek help from a qualified therapist who specialises in trauma counselling. With many years of experience working with clients facing issues such as domestic abuse and sexual violence, I provide inclusive therapy that addresses both trauma and its connections to anxiety and depression. Remember, you are not alone, and together, we will work gently to help you manage your trauma and its impact on your mental health.

Depression Therapy

Depression can make it difficult to enjoy life and engage in activities you once loved. However, overcoming depression is possible, and with the right support, you can develop a more positive outlook on life. I offer evidence-based depression therapy as well as anxiety therapy that has proven effective.

Neurodivergence support

I have experience in creating an empathic space where neurodivergent individuals or their partners can receive inclusive therapy that makes them feel heard and validated. This approach acknowledges the unique challenges they face, including anxiety and depression. I focus on providing mental health support to partners of neurodivergent individuals, helping them build resilience, maintain their well-being, and strengthen their relationships. Furthermore, I celebrate the strengths and contributions of their neurodivergent partners while offering trauma counselling to address any impactful experiences.

Relationship Counselling

Relationships are an important part of our lives, but they can also be challenging. I am here to provide mental health support by helping you improve communication and strengthen your relationships. Through a thorough examination of your own relational patterns and how these manifest in your interactions with friends and family today, we can navigate feelings that may arise, including anxiety and depression.

Please note that while I do not offer couples counselling currrently, my focus is on offering inclusive therapy for individuals to better understand themselves and their relationships, as well as support for those dealing with trauma.

Stress Management

Stress is a natural part of life, but when it becomes overwhelming, it can negatively impact our mental and physical health. Together we can explore tailored, practical strategies to manage stress, along with anxiety therapy and depression therapy, ultimately enhancing your overall well-being.
